Fight Global WarmingWelcome to the GAIA Action Program
it is time to act about Global Warming !
No one has a bigger interest in fighting Global Warming and Climate Change than the general population at a community level.
Our planet’s wealth of life is under serious threat by Global Warming and Climate Change, especially affecting the poorer parts of the world and the poorest communities. Hurricanes, typhoons, floods, tsunamis, and uncontrollable fires, are becoming stronger, bigger and more frequent. The communities affected by them are often unprepared and powerless.
In about 45 years it is predicted that we will run out of oil, but the problems will arise much sooner as the global demand for fossil fuels exceeds readily available supplies. At that point, the poorer communities will be the first to suffer as they will be without important energy supplies.
Clean and ‘CO2 neutral’ energy technologies and devices have been developed and are present in the world today. However, these good and clean technologies are not implemented in large scale nor used by the many in the communities who could benefit from them. It is time that the general population puts themselves in the driver’s seat and take charge of their own energy supplies.
It is time that the general population secures that their energy supplies in use are clean and CO2 neutral, and thus not contributing to the Global Warming and Climate Change.
It is time that the people liberate themselves from bad and harmful energy policies and make sure to implement inexpensive, long lasting and safe energy supplies for their homes and communities; energy supplies, which are not a threat to the life cycle of this planet.
Global Warming and Climate Change can still be curbed if we all participate and implement clean energy supplies. Clean energy supplies have the advantage that they are long lasting, inexpensive, and make you independent. It is time for a real change.
