The IICD program fees:
$ 4,900 for the Fighting with the poor program - 18 months program
IICD does not receive any financial support from governments, political or religious parties. We rely solely on the tuition payment of the participants and extensive fundraising.
There is a $ 400 non-refundable enrollment fee for all programs
Please do not be intimidated at these figures - talk to a promoter about your particular situation (we will work with you to solve all economical questions). If you do not have the resources to get the program fee, you can apply for the ‘Development Action’ program, and we may be able to assist you.
Here are some ideas to raise money for the tuition fee:
Hold a raffle
Ask for donations from churches or organizations
Write an article to the local paper about what you will be doing and ask for donations
Go canvassing door to door
Write a letter to all your families and friends asking them to support you in this exciting and useful endeavor
Put out donation boxes at local businesses
Hold a yard sale
Get some musical friends to put on a benefit concert
You may be able to take part in The Development Action Course up to 4 months before the DI team starts (ask our promotors about this).
